Award for the Souderton Bjorough WAWA food market from J. Edward
Hunsicker, the Souderton representative to the Northern Montgomery
County Recycling Commission. |
In its 25 years
of existence in Souderton Borough, no one can remember a time when
recycling didn't take place at the WAWA food market. Year
after year after year, the local manager makes sure that every employee
is trained to be aware of recycling.
As
with other similar operations, the store receives most of its products
in cardboard containers. And thanks to an active recycling program
that is supported at the highest corporate level, those cardboard
boxes are sent back to be recycled.
Since
WAWA has been an active recycler for many years and plans
to continue its good work, the Borough of Souderton is pleased to
present the "Excellence in Recycling Award" for Souderton Borough
to the WAWA food market.
