Staples
is a major recycler in Montgomery Township. Almost every product
Staples receives comes packed in those familiar brown cardboard
boxes. And, almost every empty cardboard box goes out the back door
to be recycled.
As part of their
training curriculum, sales associates taught to make sure that all
cardboard cartons that can be recycled find their way onto the right
pile. It may surprise you to know, however, that the well-known
office supply store also recycles other items such as toner cartridges
from ink-jet and laser printers and batteries from cell phones and
other electronic gadgets they sell.
Because of the
comprehensive approach to recycling used by Staples in its
day-to-day operations, Montgomery Township awarded the "Excellence
in Recycling Award" in Montgomery Township to Staples.
